Lambo has proven its latest innovation in Paris Motor Show in the form of Sesto Elemento which can be well appreciated in the real form. It has been launched in a convertible version of Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante.
Technology ‘carbon fiber-reinforced Plastics’ is proven lighter than its predecessor generation. In addition to reducing weight, the use of carbon material can also improve aerodynamics, fuel efficiency, and gas exhaust. This technology is commonly used in aircraft industry eventhough the quality cannot match Sesto Elemento which is not more than 999kgs.
The Gallardo can run from 0 -100 km/hour in 3.9 seconds with the top speed of 324 km/hour. Using engine power V10 5, 2 liter 550hp at 8000 rpm and torsion 540 Nm at 6.500 rpm it can produce extra powers 10hp and the engine is assembled ‘Longitudinale Posteriore’.
The Galardo has a soft gear positioning, 6 – speed electronic transmission which is also known as e-gear. It also has long dimension of 4.390mm, 1900mm of width, and 1.180mm of height. Moreover it is also equipped with a suede coat racing seat and some additional accents in the cabin. While the center console, panel instrument, the handbrake lever, steering wheel until the door handles are made of carbon fiber materials.
This Lambo will be released in Geneva Motor Show in March 2011 with the base price of US $301.819. It was firstly introduced in Los Angeles Motor Show in 2010.
